The world as it is now.

It has been many years sense the last appearance of Calamity, and the land of Hyrule has been at peace for many years. A few stir ups though have caused the split of the Kingdom from one huge one, to five seperate kingdoms, Hyrule being the center but now the Zora, Gerudo, Rito, and Gorons have split off. Relations remain good between each but ever sense the Kingdoms last fall, many are unsure if Hyrule will be able to stand for much longer.

However, the dark forces have saw fit to rise up once again, though with the noticeable absence of Ganondorf however it seems a new rout has been opened. For the past few years every night has had a Blood Moon rising over the land. The Blood Moon has been reviving all the monsters that were killed, and at first, saw chaos across the lands.

Shortly after the rise of the constant blood moons, a few warriors have banned together to fight off these hords of monsters, though many have fallen due to exausting themselves, others have found out that the monsters are no longer empowered by the constant effect, only revived. After a few years some guilds have started popping up and people have took to fighting these monsters as sport, hobbies, and even as a way to make a living.

All across the lands one can find rumors of treasure and hords and big monsters just waiting to be found by many. However one rumor has had the people on edge. For a while, many believed that Ganon was no longer able to roam these lands, however a few reports from travelers claimed they saw the King of Evil roaming around, which sparked a large man hunt for the man, but no one has ever found him, leaving some to believe that the rumors are false, but one can truly never really know.
